Water Street Retreat 08

The location is perfect for everything downtown in Wilmington and directly across from the ship. Easy check-in and prompt communication with the Host. All matched the listing for the most part. There's no oven, rather a 2 burner cook top. Bed was very comfortable! The heat pump/air exchange is VERY loud as it is right beside the bed, and ambient light outside makes the room bright. I wear earplugs and use a sleep mask, so it was ok. The only real issue was with the Spectrum TV internet access, particularly in the living room. I called the host and we tried various things, but to no avail. The WiFi worked most of the time, but the TV had no Internet. I ended up just using the hotspot on my phone so we could watch the NCAA basketball games. The host called Spectrum and they came the 2nd day and it was fixed (he sent photos) but it wasn't working when we got back in the evening. It was a Spectrum thing, not an issue with the TV itself. It was just disappointing because I chose that unit for the big TV in the living room.The view is spectacular on the balcony. The chairs out there are fake wicker that are showing their age, but make a morning view of the boat with a cup of coffee comfy.The toilet flushed very slowly, so we held the handle down until it all flushed down. The toilet rod is loose in the bathroom, just needs to be tightened or replaced.Overall a fect place for walking Wilmington at a pretty reasonable price. The parking pass is a big plus!

The condo was just as expected, spacious and clean. The location was very convenient. We had a little trouble with the door lock initially but the host was responsive and things were cleared up quickly. We had a great visit!
